Default Republican Hypocrites

A large number of victims and victims groups from across the country considered a counter demonstration against SF/IRA but decided against it as it was a day of celebration. We were there to show our respect and pay tribute to those brave men and women and we didn’t want to mar the day with violence.
I hope that Messrs Eames and Bradley were in attendance to witness the smiles on the faces of victims and those associated with men who have sacrificed much to defend their country.

It was disappointing to see SF/IRA allowed down so close to the parade. It was sickening to see Sean Kelly and other senior republican mass murderers insulting our troops and protesting. For so called republican victims to be associated with serial killers cheapens their message. They need to take a serious look at themselves and their position; sadly if there were victims there they were standing side by side and under the direction of PIRA killers.

The word hypocrite comes to mind, imagine if we as a group were to stand at a PUP organised protest alongside UVF killers the outcry that would follow. To stand with those who advocate the use of terrorism and have been actively involved in the murder of innocents must surely demean anyone’s credibility as a victim. How do republicans expect to be immune, the old adage is very true – if you lie down with dogs you will get fleas.

Republicans continue to trade under the name of victims; however they are clearly not in any conventional definition of the word. Their inextricable link with SF/IRA casts a long shadow over their claims and they must distance themselves now.
